Mind Shift Gear: Rotation 180 Panorama Product Overview

This past weekend marked the 30th anniversary of the PhotoPlus Expo, held in New York City at the Jacob Javits Center. There are over 25,000 photo professionals that come from all over the world (yes literally!) to come to this expo and see all the newest innovations, learn from professionals, and have a chance to actually use and buy gear. I took some time to go around and see what was happening in the world of professional photography and I was very impressed by all the exhibitors booths. There were direct representatives from almost every major company there as opposed to some PR or marketing firm. One of the companies I spoke with was MindShift Gear to talk about their newest upcoming launch, the Rotation 180 Panorama.

Make sure to keep your eye out for this bag and it's release in January 2014!

PERSONAL REMARKS:

This bag can easily by the most versatile and convenient bag to be coming out on the market. The ease of carrying a load of gear makes this backpack very attractive, along with it's affordable price point. The rotation belt is my favorite feature, as I enjoy hiking and other activities where I don't want to hold onto my camera the whole time. It makes it simple to unhook, swivel, and unzip to get your gear out, while keeping it nice and safe. Of course, you can even have the beltbag on it's own, serving as a camera fanny pack. Having the hydration pouch insert is another fantastic add-on. With the way the bag is designed, the hydration pouch has a breathable bottom and layers of fabric and foam; even if your pouch get punctured, your gear will remain dry and safe. The last part worth mentioning are the tripod straps. To be able to carry a tripod while never having to remove and replace it from your transportation is invaluable You never know when that ease of flow will allow you to take the perfect photograph.
